A two-year cross country search for varieties of bread, sifting through different panaderias and larger bakeries as well as a trail of records and documents from libraries such as the Lopez Library Collection resulted to a book authored by Jenny Orillos and Amy Uy. Published by Anvil Publishing Inc., Panaderia: Philippine Bread, Biscuit and Bakery Traditions was launched to the public this year. As part of the Library Public Programs of the Lopez Museum and Library, the authors of the Panaderia will be having a lecture entitled Panaderia Chronicles followed by a book signing on November 21, Saturday, 2 to 5 pm.
