To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Volume Unit Entertainment, Inc. partners with Bantay Kalikasan, the environmental arm of ABS-CBN Foundation, for the Malasimbo Music and Arts Festival. This year, the eco-cultural tourism event that showcases cultural arts, supports indigenous people, and promotes environmental conservation and protection through music will be held at the La Mesa Ecopark for the benefit of Bantay Kalikasan and its projects.
For the first time, one of the most awaited music festivals will be happening in the metro. Volume Unit Entertainment, Inc. brings the colorful and exciting music event to the La Mesa Ecopark- Amphitheatre this February 29-March 01, 2020.
Mico Grgic, Founder and Festival Director of Malasimbo Music and Arts Festival, shared that he has been looking for a venue where they can immerse the people in nature and culture. He instantly fell in love with the natural beauty of La Mesa Eco Park the moment he first saw it. He believes that its grass-terraced amphitheater is the perfect venue for their 10th anniversary. “I hope Malasimbo will help promote the beautifully enchanting Ecopark and to contribute to its preservation,” Grgic enthused.
In the past decade, Malasimbo has been involved in a variety of annual reforestation, mangrove planting projects, beach clean-ups, as well as supporting indigenous people.
Part of its proceeds will be donated to Bantay Kalikasan and its projects which include the preservation and protection of the La Mesa Ecopark.
The Malasimbo Music and Arts Festival has this magic that creates wonderful experiences with its fine elements- nature, good sound, artworks, and lighting. Adding La Mesa Ecopark’s captivating natural beauty gives another dimension to this magical experience.
