Around 450 Lopez Group employees, composed of family members, and friends, attended the recently concluded "HR Council-Lopez Lifelong Wellness Walk The Talk" (WTT), which was held last March 17, 2018 at the Garden Cottages, in Baras, Rizal.

EDC Senior Vice-President of the Human Resource Management Group Ms. Beth Nasol then delivered the Welcome Remarks, and was followed by a brief background of the chosen venue from Jez Pucio of the Masungi Georeserve Foundation (MGFI), which owns the Garden Cottages area.
Atty. Allan Barcena, the Senior Manager of EDC’s Corporate Affairs Group explained the partnership between EDC and the MGFI which covers the planting of endangered and premium native tree species in the vicinity of the georeserve. He also mentioned that the theme or the Lopez value for the WTT is "Unity" which is the essence of the partnership with MGFI, unity in promoting and advocating for native tress.
As always, the traditional Stretching and Exercise portion went underway as Jane Antonio from Gold’s Gym spearheaded the entire crowd in warming up.
Before the walk proper began, a safety briefing ensued courtesy of Mr. August Villalon from EDC’s Disaster Preparedness & Response Unit.
Participants were treated to a grand view of nature along the trail as they saw a different area outside of the popular Masungi Georeserve trail, frequented by outdoor enthusiasts.
