Hours after typhoon Glenda’s 185 kph winds tore through Albay, Sagip Kapamilya swooped into the capital, Legazpi City, to distribute relief goods to the affected families.
A total of 407 families received relief goods from ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Inc.’s emergency humanitarian assistance arm on July 16. According to program director Jun Dungo, the team will also send 2,000 relief packs and 1,000 clothes packs to typhoon victims in Bataan and Zambales.
In addition to these areas, Sagip Kamilya is conducting relief missions in Sorsogon, Camarines Sur, Naga and Laguna as well as Metro Manila.
